Dear Karmin
To explain how I first met you on the pages of a magazine, I shall tell a fairly short, but longwinded story:
Just over a year ago, my uncle, who lives in Washington, bought my sister and I a subscription to Vogue that gets delivered right to our door here in Cape Town, South Africa - isn’t he awesome? Anyway, as much as we love V and Anna Wintour, after a year we decided to try something else, so he started sending us W and Teen Vogue instead. It was in the pages of the April 2012 issue of Teen Vogue that I first read about the two of you. See how everything before that last sentence was completely pointless? Exhausting Exhaustive story telling. I got skillz.
The picture was adorable, and the fact that you’re a couple was interesting, but when I read about the youtube channel with the ninja-like covers, I was sold on the idea of your sound, and how I couldn’t guess what it would be.
